October 21, 2015 – Dar Al Tawreeq was pleased to attend the International Factors Group (IFG) 53rd annual meeting in Vienna that ended with a historic decision with a positive voting on the merger with Factors Chain International (FCI).
We congratulate IFG and FCI on this historic union between both and the unique opportunity that is now present for our industry to speak with a strong a clear united vote.
The shareholders of the IFG voted unanimously to authorize the Board to proceed with the Union with FCI. Dar Al Tawreeq is strong supporter of the decision and excited to be part of the new union.
It was a great opportunity to have joined IFG before the decision and attend the final meeting under IFG. We will be looking forward to join the next annual conference under the new union.
The conference topics and discussions were very interesting and insightful into the changes and challenges facing our industry. It was great to meet delegates representing the industry from around the world and exchange ideas and open doors for cooperation.
We believe in the key role IFG, and the new union, plays in fostering the expansion and sustainable growth of the industry. It is our mission to support sharing of knowledge and education in MENA, were the industry is still developing.
Vienna was a great city and a host and we look forward to the next annual meeting under the new union.
